North Wales

Holidays in North Wales (Gogledd Cymru) range from the fun family holidays at Rhyl and Prestatyn to informative trips around the many historic castles.

Snowdonia (or Eryri) offers visitors some of the most dramatic views in the country as well as the opportunity to take part in all sorts of outdoor activities. Whether it is a gentle walk, some serious mountain biking or a challenging rock climb you're sure to find something to tire you out.

Alternatively, in the Summer you can relax on one of the many beautiful and uncrowded sandy beaches along the West coast or on Anglesey.

The region is home to five UNESCO World Heritage sites: Caernarfon Castle, Beaumaris Castle, Conwy Castle, Harlech Castle and Pontcysyllte aqueduct. There are many guided tours available, or simply take some time to wander around yourself and immerse yourself in history.
