About Cornlee

Converted from a former barn in 2005, Cornlee provides superb (STB 4 star) semi-detached accommodation with uninterrupted views over local hills and fantastic sunsets.

Named after the hill it overlooks, Cornlee holiday cottage provides superb open plan accommodation for five. Huge French windows lead into a very light, open plan kitchen, dining, living room and extra downstairs shower room/w.c. Cornlee is equipped to a very high standard with quality fitments and is south-west facing with ample parking, a private patio and garden area. The cottage is located in a quiet rural area, ideally situated for walking, fishing, cycling and exploring.

The lounge has a widescreen TV with digital freeview, DVD and cd/radio player. The kitchen has an electric oven, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. Also on the ground floor is a w/ and shower room.

A turning galleried staircase leads upstairs to one double bedroom, one twin room, a single room and a house bathroom. Cornlee is heated by oil fired central heating and has an electric stove.

On arrival each cottage has a welcome tray with home-made bread and biscuits, milk, eggs, butter, jam, tea, coffee and a bottle of wine*.

The stunning coastline of South West Scotland is just thirty minutes away, where you can choose between sandy beaches or quiet coastal villages. The area is steeped in local history, with fabulous castles, abbeys and many other visitor attractions.

We are pet friendly and accept a maximum of 2 dogs per cottage .

There is an extra charge of £15 per dog per stay, payable direct to the owners.

During their stay dogs are not allowed upstairs on the carpeted areas or on furniture ( a stair is is available), must be kept on a lead around the property and are not to be left alone in the cottages. Thank you.
