See the map opposite for our selection of Dorset seaside cottages.
The Dorset shores offer some of the most famous holiday destinations in the South. Including the seaside entertainment of Bournemouth or Weymouth, the beautiful sand and warm waters of Studland and the dramatic and fossil-filled rocks of the Jurassic Coast. Add to that the traditional family seaside at Swanage and the spectacular natural architecture of Lulworth Cove and Durdle door. Most of the Dorset coast has been designated a World Heritage Site.
Take a trip from Poole Harbour to Sandbanks and you may even bump into some of the rich and famous as this has become one of the most sought after places to live in the world. You can then take a trip across the harbour mouth on the chain ferry to the National Trust owned Studland beach with its carefully managed sand dunes providing a vital habitat for rare wildlife.
Only a short trip inland from your seaside cottage you have the famous ruin at Corfe Castle and many archaelogical sites including Maiden Castle and Badbury Rings. There is also the historic county town of Dorchester with its wide range of shops including many small and interesting independent retailers.
